It is funny to me how tame the deer are around here. Often they are found just standing on the side of the road watching traffic. They are so beautiful, but if you are reading my blog deer, please stay on the side of the road and be safe :)

Out the back window
Although we often see a few deer out our window or while we are driving, this time was a whole family. Jason walked out to the deck and the dad stopped to make sure we were friends and then kept on walking. Hearing their hooves on the street is always a riot! You would think we live in the country :)

That's awesome! Just be careful if you have any hostas planted in your yard. Hostas=yummy treat for deer. Learned that the hard way with the hostas in our backyard- we looked out our window one morning and watched two deer waltz into our backyard and start munching on our pretty plants! There's an all-natural repellent you can buy...just FYI. :)
