Another tooth?

The toothfairy can not keep up these days!

Last week Laney lost the front left one that had been dangling for weeks...and giving me the heeby jeebies....ug, teeth :)

I knew she had another loose one but I thought we had at least a few weeks. She came home from kindergarten with a tooth box necklace (which they get when they lose a tooth from school). I was shocked! Her friend, Liam, lost a tooth that day too...ironic?

The end of October--shorts??

We had one last week of beautiful weather at the end of October. The kids were wearing shorts to school and I was back to flip flops.

Here we are at the new school park with Ellie and Audrey Kaleba. I even packed a picnic for after school....who would have thought it would be so nice?

Children's Theater

My mom and I love seeing musicals and have seen them since I was little.

We were excited to get season passes with the girls to the Cincinnati Children's Theater for this year.

Our first one was Seusical Jr based on the book Horton Hears a Who.

Although the girls got a bit tired, it was fun for them to see live theater.

The next one is a Christmas Show with one of the guys from American Idol  who made it to the finals.

And then for a sweet treat at McDonalds :)

Welcome Baby Connor

We were so excited to see a new member of the Kelly family, Connor.

We have watched Susie look cuter and cuter while baby Connor was in her belly but when the day finally came for Connor, the girls were ecstatic.

Ella is ready to babysit :)

Disney on Ice

We were so excited to have a day out with our ladies and their friends, Marin and Madeline Russell. The girls are the same age so it makes it really nice for the kids and the adults :)

After a great time at the ice show we went to Mourline Lager House. Although it was freezing the girls ran and ran around outside while we were inside talking. Thanks to huge windows and a seat by those windows we could see them perfectly. It was great!

Look who has glasses!

In the beginning of second grade, Ella started to complain that she can't see the smart board (who has blackboards any more? lol). She was sitting the furthest away in class so I wasn't convinced it was her eyes but rather a blurry smart board. I let the teacher know and the next week Ella's desk was moved closer.

 We still decided we should take her to the eye doctor. I mean, the rest of us are/were blind (thanks to Lasix we are good) so we figured all of our kids would need glasses at some point.

We took her to the eye doctor and he said she really has pretty good eyes,but a small correction could be beneficial. Honestly, he didn't seem like she needed them but since Nana Dean can get us great lenses for inexpensive he agreed that getting her that small correction could give her the confidence to see the board :)

So here are her new glasses......love it! What second grader doesn't need Vera Bradley glasses :)

Nana Dean was so sweet and brought over glasses for Ella to try on.

If you know our family, you know we love our art. Ella has been the one really into crafts and loves being artistic but it has been funny to see how Matthew is now into art. 

I am so glad we made a room just to do crafts. 

This table is probably the most used area in the house :)

Ella's second year in soccer showed amazing improvement. We were so excited to find out she had the same coaches as last year, Dan McManus and Tom Sharp but only a few of the same players. I love mixing it up :)

Last year Ella ran around the ball and didn't really touch it. But boy did she try.

But this year, Ella got the hang of positioning, centering the ball, passing, etc.

Although I didn't get a picture of her goal, Ella scored one goal this season.

She earned herself some ice cream (of course we just had to eat some with her, right?)

She usually played 1 quarter front line, 1 quarter front defender and 1 quarter goalie

She loved goalie but me, not so much.

I was so nervous when she was in goal....us crazy moms!

But I have to say, she did so well every game in goal.

On her last game, she saved 7 goals in one quarter.....yeah girl!

Ella's biggest supporter...look how big Gabby is getting!
