Matthew can be a very loud child when he wants to be and although he still won't use simple words to get what he wants (he will pound on the refrigerator until we open it), he is using a lot of words these days:
--Dada
--Mama
--Hello
--Ella (kind of, but we know it's what he is saying as he tongue sticks out of his mouth and goes from side to side trying to say Ella)
--Dog
--Bye-Bye
--Uh-oh
--Ball
--Baby
--Poopy
--Shoes (more like --oes)

Great job, Matthew! I thought third children didn't talk, but maybe that was just in my family (Holly!). :) He is doing really well!
How fun! I love when little ones start talking. Then all of the interaction stops being one-sided, you know? It's like, "Wow! We can finally communicate!" It's cute to hear him talk!
